Monday Window – February 10, 2020

Tower of Windows

Today I have one tower of windows, but it is presented three ways. There is much that post processing can do. I am still checking out the apps that I have installed on my new laptop. Here is the image processed as an HDR look in ON1 Photo RAW.

For a dramatic look in black and white I used Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 – still my old copy that I have been using for years.

Here is the image, pretty much as it came out of the camera.

Which of these appeals to you? How do these versions affect you? Your thoughts are most welcome.

Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject. Please see the sidebar.

  1. Thank you all for your thoughts. I have always admired photographs with strong, deep, inky shadows and brilliant highlights. Yet I can’t seem to replicate that style, somehow I gravitate to the open shadows, full detail images. Guess I’m just too happy with the world around me.
