Tower of Windows
Today I have one tower of windows, but it is presented three ways. There is much that post processing can do. I am still checking out the apps that I have installed on my new laptop. Here is the image processed as an HDR look in ON1 Photo RAW.
For a dramatic look in black and white I used Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 – still my old copy that I have been using for years.
Here is the image, pretty much as it came out of the camera.
Which of these appeals to you? How do these versions affect you? Your thoughts are most welcome.
Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject. Please see the sidebar.
Please visit the participating blogs. You will be delighted and astounded by the rich and imaginative offerings by the bloggers from around the world.

The black and white version looks very threatening. Basically I prefer the processed version as it makes the most of the clear blue skies dotted with clouds.

For what it’s worth, my favourite would be the original, although the B&W clouds are certainly dramatic.

Love the first one, Ludvig 😁 The colours are fantastic; that being said, the second is so dramatic 👏

My favorite is the first one, the blue reflection is calm

Like mentioned above the ON1 is calming and I like the light blues. The black and white one really stands out! : )

Thank you all for your thoughts. I have always admired photographs with strong, deep, inky shadows and brilliant highlights. Yet I can’t seem to replicate that style, somehow I gravitate to the open shadows, full detail images. Guess I’m just too happy with the world around me.

Love the second most. There’s something about the graphic quality of the stark hard lines juxtaposed with the curves of the background sky in black and white that fairly screams “drama”. 🙂
