An Old Storefront

My last photo from my “drive-by” series. Here we see an old storefront in the little town of Lexington, GA. I will start with the wide view as seen from my car driving by.

You can see what attracted my eye here: This graphic mural where one would expect the name of the store.

Let’s take a closer look into this photo. Here are the windows from the stores to either side and the door windows of our “graphic” store.

And just the store by itself.

Restaurant Windows

For this week another drive-by photo. This one of a restaurant outside Athens, Georgia. Just a small building with a front door and two large windows. You can see the tables inside. No customers, the photo was taken in the late afternoon long after lunch and before dinner time.

I just could not skip this shot as it really is a selfie. Something I had not notices until I was inspecting the image after post-processing. Well, not much of a selfie, but you can recognize the reflection of my car and something in the open rear window. That’s me, or at least my hands and my camera.
