The year that was
This time of year one sees a great deal of reviews of the year that was. Sadly, 2020 was not a year to be nostalgic about. There was much suffering, turmoil, and sadness. The pandemic loomed over everything.
It was not considered safe for old folks like myself to be out and about and my photography suffered mightily. For me this photo illustrates much of what I saw of windows: Fast food service.

Much of what I posted was from my archives. Here a look at photos from my most popular posts. The top one got twenty stars!

Last night we drove around the neighborhood and saw wonderful decorations. There is still cheer and hope out there.

Of course I photographed the windows. The rest, though, looked to good to not include.
Through all the difficulties of 2020 our circle of friends stayed steady, posting cheerful, interesting, amazing views of windows from around the world.
I thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm. I am glad that we made it to the end of the year. I wish you all a truly happy New Year!

Margaret, I think I just deleted your comment. Sorry, I read it and tried to click the start and puff! Hmmm … Maybe that’s the way 2020 will go.
