City Hall
Last week we visited a cafe in beautiful downtown Norcross, Georgia. Some eight years ago, while I was there in the neighborhood, I decided to photograph the city hall. It is an imposing little building. It sits tightly in its surroundings, there are utility lines and other infrastructure that make it difficult to get a clean photo.

My goto scheme then, as it is now, is to step a little closer and take a bunch of overlapping photos, up and down, left and right, and use Microsoft ICE – Image Composite Editor – to stitch them together into a presentable image.

There are different ways of controlling the rendering. I will spare you and show just two.

Lots of windows there. Enjoy!

It is nice on the inside too. Sorry, but I don’t have any photos. Guess I better pay them another visit.

Oh, there were others. ICE offers a number of projections, and then I sometimes use manual distortions to get a result I like.
