Lobby Window

Here is a view of the stunning lobby of one of the medical buildings on the Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital campus in Atlanta, Georgia.

Locally the location is known as “pill hill” as it is on a rise just inside the “Perimeter” in Sandy Springs. Next to the 32-acre campus of St. Joe’s is Northside Hospital, Atlanta’s largest, and Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. There are medical facilities surrounding these behemoths in all directions.

This window wall looks north across the Perimeter, the multi-lane highway that encircles Atlanta. Prominent are the 34-story King and Queen buildings.

Cockpit window

A bit of a different window. We were driving by and decided to turn in and take a look at the theme restaurant by the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.

It has been several years since we visited there. It still looks like a fun place, but for today the attention is on the plane displayed outside, and the planes on the nearby airport taxiways.
