Hospital windows – 2
The newest addition to the Emory University Hospital is the tower building.
It opened in 2017 and is located across the street from the main building that I pictured last week – Hospital windows – 1.
The lower stories are faced with a window wall looking out on Clifton Road.

The upper floors feature large floor to ceiling windows.

On the west side the windows look out over the main building, the Emory University campus, and the Atlanta skyline in the distance.

For a larger view see Gallery Ludwig. More photos also at Café Ludwig.

Your hospital shots keep on giving, Ludwig. I hope things continue to improve. For my shot today, I haven’t even left home: https://margaret21.com/2021/06/07/mere-shadows-of-themselves/

That hospital is looking good! Even the decor…looks very modern. Here is mine https://mywanderings.travel.blog/2021/06/07/looking-out-looking-in/

I was prepared to say I prefer the windows of the old wing – but the window front isn’t bad at all.
Here are my windows for this week: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/06/07/window-shopping/

If you have to spend any time in a hospital, it’s good to have a view…

Thank you, Margaret. I hope this is the last from the hospital. Now back to the rehab place.

It is a confidence inspiring place, both in the modern and traditional sections. It is also one of the top hospitals. Thank you, Teresa.

Yes, Lin, the balls form a hanging sculpture (photo above). The balls reflect the mezzanine and overhead lights and look like friendly smiley faces.

Thank you for the fun shots of Atlanta, my home for many years. It was good seeing familiar buildings.
