Buckhead windows

Once again I will dive eight years into my archives for s series of photos. The one here has not been shared before. There will be others from that collection that I have either reprocessed or processed for the first time.

Here we see a window-wall building reflecting nearby buildings built in the same style. The not quite flat window panes distort the reflections into abstract patters.

Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject.

Monday Window – August 23, 2021

Rear Window

It has not been possible for me lately to go out for photography. We are still sticking close to home – the pandemic and health issues have seen to that.

However, I do carry my smartphone and occasionally snap a view from the car or while doing errands.

Here is one of those. I was waiting in line to pick up lunch behind a car getting their order. It seemed a bit slow, so I pulled out my phone.

As I was doing my post-processing the words “go car go, go van go” came to mind. Van go? How about “Van Gogh”? So I did a bit of photoodling and you see the scene here the way Van Gogh might have interpreted it.

Nothing special. Just a moment from a couple of days ago.
