Monday Window – September 13, 2021

Forms of Windows

These views look up at one of the more unusual buildings in Buckhead. That’s down in Atlanta, Georgia.

It was in early spring, some twelve years ago, when I took these two photos on successive days at about the same time. The exposures were identical, but the lighting conditions were not.

One was taken at 9:25 am the other at 9:58 am the previous day. A light overcast makes a huge difference in the way the building, and the sky, looks.

Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject.

  1. Haha, not really. I had been down there several days watching over the installation of some structural addition for which I had made the drawings. Had plenty of time for photography.
