Dreary Windows
The sky was dreary, and so were the reflections in the windows of this old mall building. That fit in pretty well with the reason we came by. Yes, you guessed it already, we came for our booster shot. A dreary enough situation, that pandemic just doesn’t want to let go.
The old mall has long ago been a lively place and now sits mostly empty. Monday Window visited this place a couple of years ago with a ten-year old photo. See the old post Mall Skylight.
As I started to unload the wheelchair, I heard a voice calling to me. “Stay in your car. We will come to you.” Sure enough, no need to go inside. They were set up to deliver the Covid shots right there in the parking lot. A pleasant and efficient crew. Like a warm ray of sunlight – although the clouds stayed pretty well closed up.

Whatever the weather, at least you got your booster. I’ve just had my fourth jab – unbelievable. With more to come no doubt …

It is indeed a dreary building. I think I’ll stop at three jabs as I have no high risk conditions. Here is my entry for this week https://thebloggler81901823.wordpress.com/2022/07/11/monday-windows/

End, Teresa? It looks like this might just go on and on.

It seems like the end of the mall era, Alice. They just have not found a way to pull people in. The pandemic certainly hasn’t helped them.
