Monday Window – October 24, 2022

We have spent a few weeks touring Athens, Georgia, mainly the campus of the University of Georgia. The photos had been copied to a special folder and reprocessed. Many did not get used in Monday Window posts, just eliminated. The ones that were published then got transferred to the “published’ folder. Finally, just one photo remained, lonely and unloved. It has a major flaw. There is a prominent lens flare spot. The photo was taken with the sun just outside the frame on the left. The flare spot is one of the most intense in my collection.

Before sending it to the wastebasket I realized that this spot was really an image of the lens – a window! So, it made it to this blog after all.

The windows on the building aren’t shabby either. Here are some closer crops:

And now that folder is done.

Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject.

Hey, Monday Window bloggers, please tag your posts “Monday Window” so we can find them all at once.
