Arched Window

It even has a door. In fact, it is the main entrance of the Morris Museum of Art and Chamber of Commerce in Augusta, GA.

There are also plenty of windows of the hotel across the plaza.

I thought I had used these photos before. but did not see them in the Media file, so here they are in all their glory.

As “arch” is in the title it seems fitting to add this post to the Weekly Prompt challenge.

Since I am linking to another blog, why not a bit of advertising of my own. People who enjoy windows also love to see the rest of the world around them, so this is a natural. Please take a look at my daily posts of a series of my street photography images over in my Ludwig.Gallery. Besides, there is a big window in the post from the day when I firmed up this post: My Street Photography – 011.

Medical Building

Following last week’s old photo of a hospital, here is a new one from another medical facility.

Atlanta has a large campus of medical buildings with several hospitals, including Northside and Emory. The area is commonly referred to as “pill hill”. Here is the front of one of the buildings of the Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital complex.

This building front faces north and it is difficult to get sunlight on it except late, just before sunset, or very early after sunrise, which is the case for this photo. The windows reflect another Emory building across the plaza.
