Driving through Nashville

Just two photos from Nashville, Tennessee.

Well, when I got this far I realized that I would be short-changing my friends and visitors. To just show two photo from Nashville, THE Nashville, borders on torture.

So I went back to my archive, these are photos from three years ago, and picked up a few more.

Some really colorful windows. A pano looking along the Cumberland river and a few street scenes.

Click on the small images to see them larger.

But wait. There is more!

Here a building with not a single window showing. Yes, it doe look familiar. Nashville is home to a full-size reconstruction of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Not as it is today, but as it might have been some to millennia ago.

Parthenon, Nashville

Am I allowed to show this in Monday Windows? Well, with my frequent “fake windows”, “no windows” might not be a complete misfit.

Enjoy!

    1. Thank you. There are many sights that look more like the music scenes you expect. Maybe another visit is in order. Thank you eklastic. By the way, comments seem turned off on your blog.

      1. Thanks for letting me know, I’ll check it out. During the past week I’ve encountered a few hindrances with wordpress, settings that were changed without my doing.
