Old is often more romantic- seeming.

They are difficult to clean but they make the rooms wonderfully light. And nowadays windows are much better insulated so they are energy efficient. I am a fan of large and/or many windows!

They do bring in the light. Even in our almost half a century old house we have huge windows – but not as many.

Good job they don’t have window tax nowadays with all the windows. I do like a lot of windows.
